Our History
HGR Insurance Brokers Ltd is an Insurance Broking and Risk Management firm offering personal service to small and medium sized businesses, backed by high standards within the Team. Its foundations date back to the early 1970s when provincial insurance brokers Stewart & Rogers Ltd and Harrod & Gall Ltd were formed in Amblecote and Dudley respectively.

In 1989, the two companies merged to form a new company called Harrod Gall and Rogers Ltd. Then, in 1994, the company changed its name to HGR Insurance Brokers Ltd, and has enjoyed steady but well engineered growth since then.

In mid 2004, HGR purchased the client base of another long established provincial insurance broker – John GL Hamilton Ltd, of Dudley, thus considerably increasing its client base and overall size relative to competitors.

Our ethos and aim is to provide our clients with unrivalled levels of service via personal contact, and backed up by a wealth of experience.
